I went to my son's school today for his "Meet the Author" time. Each child writes and illustrates a book. Family and friends are invited to come to hear the children read their stories. My son wrote about a trip to the beach that we took when he was 4. He remembered every detail, including when he was buried in the sand and some of the silly nieces and nephews made him "look like a girl."
