We went to see my niece in a Charlie and the Chocolate Factory play at her school. Ryan was patiently waiting for her after the show to give her the candy bouquet we put together for her. My children are so blessed to have over 20 cousins who they absolutely adore!

After spending some time working on a puzzle with his PopPop, Matthew decided he really wanted to do puzzles. We borrowed this one from my parents. He really is good at them. I also found myself working on it. There is something calming about doing a puzzle.

My mother used to always say "Look at the little soldiers marching down the street" when it would rain like this. I tell my kids that now. Not sure how much sense it really makes, but...I'll still say it when I see rain like this.

My son Ryan's favorite food is salmon. He LOVES it! This is probably my family's favorite meal. I have to say, if it can be grilled, it will be awesome because my husband is amazing with the grill.
